Entry to the Scribblenauts+DC (Scribblenauts: Unmasked) contest entry.
the goal was to create a unique design for one of your favourite characters for DC
I had three choices I had wanted to do: Creeper, Jokester, and Lobo
I ended up doing Creeper with Jokester in the background. I didn't do Lobo because he was already in the game to my knowledge (shown in the Preview Video).
Some one already did Creeper while I was working on this... Kinda made me sad actually
The first side of the picture goes along with the idea in scribblenauts that you may be able to spawn both the hero and their Secret identity, or Counterpart since we're talking about the creeper, along with multiples of one thing.
Ex: You may be able to spawn Bruce Wayne plus Batman, and about 10 other Batmans' (Batmen?)
So I got the idea from Issues 10 and 11 of "The Creeper" comics where Jack Ryder and Creeper end up splitting onto two people. So here we Have Creeper and Jack looks Extremely worried (Like he always seems to look for some reason) and Jokester confused on why he's there plus trying to calm Jack down because HE'S A GOOD PERSON.
"It's okay Jack, I'm not suppose to be here either."
"How is that suppose to make me feel better?!"
only thing I have to say about this: Maxwell, what have you done?
second his just him jumping from high buildings. yeah....
If you've ever watched the show "Freakaziod" as a kid (like I short of did) and liked it, you'll like the creeper
Creeper has to be one of my Favourites because he Went through some things that would most likely make a DC comic character a villain, But he turned out a HERO instead because, you know what, He defies all logic and reason as a character him self. so if he wants to look like a Villain, act like a villain, and actually be a Hero, all the power to him.
Creeper (Jack Ryder) created by Steve Ditko, first Appeared in Issue #73 of the "Showcase" comic series. This series was, to my knowledge along with Wikipedia's, a Series they used to test out different new and minor characters.
His next appearance was in his own series named "Beware the Creeper" that was written by Dennis O'Neil. He "died" in the end of that comic.
Next came a brief appearance in "Super-Team Family" Issue #2. Apparently his back story in this barely if at all matched that of his prior comic.
He teamed up with batman, that he does A LOT as time goes on, in Isuue #80 of "Brave and the Bold". He also appeared for one episode the cartoon that shares the same name as this comic. I couldn't find the name of the episode I apologize, but we where only suppose to do the DC comic universe anyway.
He only appeared as a minor character in "Justice League of America" issue #70
Appeared YET AGAIN with Batman in Issue #418 (big number o.o) of "Detective Comics" and his Origin Redone in issue #443, along with the "DC 100 Page Super Spectacular", Jack appeared as a New reported in #445, and As the Creeper again in Issues #447–448 to help Batman, because he was blamed for murder.
He appeared in (surprise) "Joker"/"the Joker" (not to sure on that) Issue #3. Why? Because they Basically came out of the same mold or at least look like it (and act like it (?))
then in his own issue "1st Issue Special" Issue #7. (Wait what? that...made PERFECT sense!)
Appeared in "Adventure Comics" Issues #445–447
In Issues #249–55 (what? don't ask me I don't know) of "World's Finest Comics"
In "The Flash" Issues #318–323
"DC Comics Presents" Issue #88 with batman again
and the last few comics, that I have actually read and have sitting next to me as a Wright this "The Creeper" Issues #1-12 (actually only 1-11 I think...I only know that he might have died in this series from splinting away from back and into way to many creepers)
Now something I found my self playing "Batman: Arkham Asylum" as i was listening to the random banter of joker and a news thing turned on. I got all bord at first barely listening then he stated that he was "Jack Ryder" and I was extremely happy thinking Creeper was in the game. no such luck.
(Note: THEY NEED TO FRICKEN ADD CREEPER TO THAT GAME)
(Note: most info gotten from this wiki en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creeper_…
(Note: he also appeared in the Batman Animated series episode "beware the creeper" go watch it. now. they have it on YouTube)
Jokester (or Jackie depending on who you are) appeared in i'm Pretty sure "Justice League of America" Issue #29 or at least Earth-3 did, where he's from.
He's adorable and has a pony tail. nuff' said.
